Autumn Vineyard

I had a vision of this painting for many years before

I painted it.  A memory of the sun on the sweet, ripe

fruit that was growing on the Hall Ranch in Upper Ojai.

My daughter would have her son with her, riding on

their horses through the farm, and could pick a small

bunch.  Just a small warm bunch, bursting with flavor!
