This happens to me all the time!   I see these fabulous colors in the fruits, flowers, and vegetables; eggplant, onions, peonies, artichoke, roses, carrots, bell peppers.  I buy all this stuff and I can't eat it all but I cant stop picking it up.  I'll make soup!  Then I think... they need a basket... and then I paint.  The inspiration of the color is always so fun to paint.  I feel like, "I know this flower and fruit!"
